Well. Honestly I’d go for C64, but just because that was MY system back then. All the commodores are the most thoroughly tested, imho. For a higher resolution loading screen go with Amiga.

Game 15: Adventure Construction Set (Electronic Arts, 1986). I was able to get my #Amiga 1200 working and this is the first game that I started up. Within a few moments I was able to behead a dude shooting at me, solving the "does this game hold up?" question.

Ohmygod. I had this (copied) for the C64 and it still haunts me, in a positive way. I remember a preset game about Gilgamesh. I was too young and the lack of instructions made it unusable for me. But I could go back to it now! Thanks for sharing!
