My deepest condolences go to Eric Dane's family and loved ones. I had the great pleasure of working with Eric on a movie called THE RAVINE. He was a sweetheart as a co-worker and person. His last words to his daughters epitomize his courage and inner beauty. Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEMp...
An entire generation of great freedom fighters are leaving us one by one. Now a new generation must step up as our inspirational northstars. Rest in peace and power Reverend Jackson and all who have passed before you. You will live on in our hearts and minds and by the good works you contributed. π
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY
Nothing beats sharing moments with all the loves of my life - Danielle, Grahame, and Justice. Love you all to the moon and back. ππ
For those who may not have seen the Super Bowl Halftime Show, or would like to see it again, here is the full Bad Bunny production. It's about the American Dream, no matter the language. Brava on the universal celebration of life, community, determination, hope, and love.

I was shocked to hear of her passing. There are some larger-than-life individuals we just think will always be with us. They are so much a part of our culture and our lives that we
were uniquely her own.
Beetlejuice, Home Alone 1 and 2, Waiting for Guffman, A Mighty Wind, Best in Show, The Studio. All are works that benefited greatly from her combination of wit, whimsy, otherworldliness, buffoonery, and TRUTH. She didn't settle for caricature. She created real, living,

For many, she became a beloved household name because of her indelible performances as Moira Rose in Schitt's Creek. But as far back as SCTV, she created rich and hilarious persona that
Been thinking all day about the brilliance that was Catherine O'Hara. What distinguishes her as such a great comedian is that she was a great ACTRESS. Whether she was speaking as the central character of a scene or listening silently and reacting, she ALWAYS layered the comedy with the pathos
We all protest in our own ways. I commend Bruce for bravely using his powerful voice and public platform to reach people who might not otherwise hear the message.

When words fail, we turn to artists to express our feelings for us. Thank you to @brucespringsteen.net for always having the courage to speak truth to power. Like the Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young anthem OHIO, the Sam Cooke plea of hope A CHANGE IS GONNA COME, and Beyonce

Edit: Good grief. How could I mistake Jeremiah Johnson for Grizzly Adams? This old brain doesn't work like it used to. So very sorry!
The Natural. Grizzly Adams. The Way We Were. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The Sting. The Candidate. All the President's Men. Founder of Sundance. Environmentalist. Humanitarian. Some folks just seem immortal because they define a culture and their works live on. RIP Robert Redford. Well done.
I just love Chicago and look forward to my return this weekend. Maybe Porchlight Music Theatre celebrating the arts will melt away some of the blues? π

I was in too much shock last night to post my condolences to the family of Malcolm-Jamal Warner. Such a tragedy and communal loss. We watched him grow up from a precocious kid into a multi-talented man and humanitarian. He lived his life humbly and privately, yet he touched everyone profoundly. π
