London is a funny place.
Eating lunch in an Itsu (sushi style chain) and a lady shouts to her husband “Get spoons - soup spoons!”

The idea that there’s multiple styles of spoons available in a chain just gives “how much is a banana anyway?” feels 😂

Washing the dishes is a chore, and so is completing a homework assignment you aren't excited about. Sometimes a thing that you wanted to do can become a chore if it ceases to be fun or interesting.

Does anyone else find it incredibly grating that we seem to have adopted the word "chore" to describe necessary, but simple tasks?

I find it incredibly passive-aggressive, as though a teenager is throwing a tantrum at being asked to wash the dishes.

Let's have more respect for our craft.
