If someone says writing barks is easy... they are doing it wrong.

It's such a kneejerk thing to say and it just isn't true.

I have read bark sheet after bark sheet that's derivative and unengaging. Where the writer has gone-

Great thread here on writing barks; the lines usually spoken in battle or in the background of a larger scene, usually spoken at a higher (or extreme!) volume.

From a VA’s POV, it’s very easy to see who’s put the work in and who hasn’t. I often dismiss auditions when I see cliché riddled barks.
