Fluffy is 10 and has the most magnificent whiskers I've ever seen. She is loving and cuddly and she loves to chatter at birds out the window. She is at Richmond Animal Control and in search of a loving home. To sweeten the deal, these whiskers probably come with TEN WISHES!

We brought one of the feral cats (big boy, Ares) into the vet yesterday, as he showed up terribly ill. He survived the night and the doc says he expects he will make it. Still a long road ahead of us, but we have hope.

I think the thing I find most reprehensible about these dummies is that, even when shown and proven wrong, rather than feel any shame or acknowledgement, they double and triple down. Learning and self-awareness doesn't seem to be of any interest to them.

Today has been one week since I began my interval walking program. The first day, I walked alone. The second day, my daughter joined me. The third day, my husband joined us. We are now all walking together. It's good stuff and I'm grateful.
