Started playing Detective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved a few days ago and very much have been enjoying it so far. Feels like a genuine love letter to ADVs and is filled with a lot of heart

But yeah I also don't think such numeric ratings are that important and I personally vastly prefer to put my feelings towards games into words instead of just a meaningless number, hence why I mostly try to use the site as a catalogue for which games I have played and write reviews about them

I like to treat such ratings more as a vibe thing, to sort them a bit more as to how much I liked and enjoyed them and not really try to use it as something to directly describe their quality or compare them, which is also honestly kind of impossible considering how different games can be.

Yeah, that was admittedly mostly much more disappointing than anything else after playing the full game and I feel like there's a lot of wasted potential within this game since the initial premise and concept was actually very promising

Now that it has already been 8 years since its release, Xenoblade 2 is still an absolutely amazing game that I very much love as my second favorite game and it's definitely an experience I always more than fondly look back to. Happy 8th anniversary!

That's more than understandable, and probably a feeling that's not easy to get rid of when looking back on such art. Still, I very much appreciate that you keep this art and feel like it's still valuable in its own right even if it might be imperfect in your eyes 💖

But of course I can also entirely understand the feeling of not really liking some old work one has done and rather not wanting to post it anymore. In the end it's still most important that you yoirself feel comfortable with it and shouldn't have to force yourself to anything

I'm not really good at drawing but as someone who generally just really loves your art, I feel like it's if anything just proof that you improved over time and got even better. So there's still a lot of worth to such art, even if you might feel unsatisfied with them

Had a lot of fun playing Donkey Kong Bananza! Genuinely an absolutely fantastic 3D platformer that feels very fresh and new with its whole concept and core gameplay mechanics

Don't know whether or not somewhere already is a full scan of the book. If there are any other parts of the original text you need though, feel free to ask. I can't make a full proper digital scan, but at the very least definitely can help you out with photos of the respective pages

This was btw actually further explored in the XSIII Perfect Guide. Thanks to Wilhelm they ended up in the same galaxy as Lost Jerusalem, so I guess that at least makes it a bit more likely that they possibly could reach it

Played the demo of H9 and really liked it with what it had to offer thus far. Both the general concept and the mystery are great and very intriguing and I'm already very excited for the full release later this month
