Humans are more likely to interact when they are angry. Social media algorithms promote posts with more interaction. Therefore angry people get their comments seen, this perpetuates anger and stress. The veracity of those comments is never a factor.

Before long it will be thoughts and prayers, then some apologies. However all of the key decision makers in government and industry will become unusually silent and allowed to simply get away with it. I suspect they will litigate endlessly to ensure their freedom for the rest of their life.

I think it's often a case of report first, verify later. This could be something they heard, but don't know if it's true. They may not even know at the time of publication if the girl exists. The race to be first leads to reporting rumours assumed to be fact until proven otherwise.

I suspect the figures for pregnant women, disabled, elderly all don't reflect when the adverts are shown. There are for example far more adverts with elderly people when people elderly are more likely to be watching - in the day time.

Makes no difference to me if black people are in adverts, or gay or trans for that matter, but I do get the impression there are far more interracial couples in adverts than I ever see in person. It's all to comply with DEI legislation, that's good but it means the adverts aren't typical of reality.

Nothing will change without major sanctions on Russia's biggest allies - China and India. They buy the oil that funds Russia now.

Saying they are Nazis is on obviously false, they are MAGA and they are like Nazis. For this sentiment to actually have any effect, the word MAGA needs to be discussed in the same way that Nazis are, but I'm not sure that's possible yet when many of them still think MAGA is a force for good.
