A recent study shows that vaccinating during pregnancy can cut the risk of babies being hospitalised with RSV by up to 72%.
The research found significant protection for infants when the vaccine was given at least two weeks before birth.

Pet dogs could combat genetic eczema risk in children
Having a dog at home could help to prevent eczema in children who are genetically prone to the condition, a study suggests.
A study, led Professor Sara Brown based at our Institute of Genetics and Cancer, shows that children with a specific eczema-related gene variant were less likely to develop the condition if exposed to dogs early in life.
