Slightly bad news.
I have to delay my PD training because my catheter moved. So, until I can get back to the access center to have it assessed, I can't start training.
*Sigh* I just have to remind myself, "It's only a temporary delay." π

2025 became a year of recovery and rebound.
If all goes according to plan, 2026 will be the year I return to the things I love: Writing, streaming and figuring out how to music right!

A copy of the novel "Yumi and the Nightmare Painter" on top of a copy of "The Frugal Wizard's Handbook for Surviving Medieval England", both in trade paper size and both written by Brandon Sanderson.
It's been a while since I bought some stuff from one of my favorite authors, Brandon Sanderson. Still have the signed copies of "Mistborn" and "Elantris" from my B&N employment days, too!

Look, I don't know why I'm posting this. I just know that I get (rightfully) accused of bottling my thoughts up. And I had thoughts, so I thought I'd commit them to the written form.
Ergo, this post string.
If you read this far...thanks. I'm good. Honest. Just lost in thought.
I love my family, and I love my friends.
I hate not having the time or energy for them.
And when I'm around them, I don't like being a burden (even if they say I'm not...I feel like one nonetheless).
It takes a toll, this cycle.
When I'm at work, I want to cry, but I try to power through.
When I'm at dialysis, I want to cry, but I put on a brave front.
When I'm home, I'm usually too tired to be sad. By the weekend, I'm just...beaten down.
And then, it's Monday again...
There are days when I want nothing more than to be around everyone I love.
And there are days when I don't want to burden anyone...including my other half.
It's a conundrum. I crave people, yet I feel like a weight on them when I'm around.
I'll be open and honest.
Sometimes, I hate myself and the conditions that have hit me. I feel broken and inferior.
Sometimes, I remember what I survived and I feel strong.
The bad days are mentally rough, albeit temporary. The good days feel uplifting, but equally fleeting.
