It's both surprising, and good, to see that one government agency these days is capable of being embarrassed, and changing course quickly.

The effectiveness of a mass movement scales up out of proportion to its size. 10 people may be 100 times as effective as one; 100 people may be 10,000 times as effective.

Read the post - Sam thinks the redistricting might not produce the gains they think it will due to shifts in Hispanic votes.
19.11.2025 16:54 β π 5 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0At this point, so far the net effect of this festival of redistricting is to add 3 seats for Democrats. VA and FL could change that.
Really not worth it for either side, considering what is likely to happen in 2026. And terrible for gerrymandered voters everywhere.

This isnβt controversial.
A President calling for the execution of anyone who reminds service members of this oath is showing us why the duty to disobey illegal orders is so important in the first place.
I still want a newspaper to do an Impeachable Offense of the Day column.
It would get a lot of attention and frankly be quite easy to do.
Some agencies might be able to keep their name, since it's ambiguous which side they are on:

The government respectfully submits this supplemental filing to correct the record regarding statements during the hearing held on November 19, 2025, before U.S. District Court Judge Michael S. Nachmanoff, suggesting an issue with the grand jury voting process on the indictment returned in Case No. 1:25-CR-272-MSN. The official transcript of the September 25, 2025, proceedings before Magistrate Judge Vaala conclusively refutes that claim and establishes that the grand jury voted on - and true-billed - the two-count indictment. I. The Court and the Foreperson Confirmed the Vote on the Two-Count Indictment The transcript contains the following direct exchange between the Court and the grand jury foreperson: THE COURT: Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you. 10 So you voted on the one that has the two counts? 11 THE FOREPERSON: Yes. See Transcript, Dkt No, 10, attached as Exhibit "A" at 4. This sworn testimony alone establishes that the grand jury voted on the two-count
This is nuts.
Yesterday in the Comey hearing, prosecutors *repeatedly* confirmed that the full grand jury never saw or voted on the two-count indictment.
Now theyβre claiming the grand jury *did* vote on it.
Very telling that lawmakers reminding the military to obey lawful orders has hit a nerve among the MAGA elites and Trump specifically
Leans into the Trumpian notion that if the President orders something itβs not illegal - which is patently incompatible with constitutional democracy
