/2 But as you said... that is different than isolation with a formally documented request per instance, and a written, *pre-viewership*, legally binding statement of justification.

Embedded in that statement is the acknowledgement that it's expected for stores to be running the same sweeping AI recognition/analytical software, likely running Flock embedded in the camera itself, and being auto-pushed to a cloud server.

The argument literally CAN'T be, "I want privacy",... /1

The market really is just in some feverdream of expectation - explosive profit margins or die.

They know the mission...capture liquidity as fast as possible before purchasing power gets diluted to oblivion.

Drat! Good looking California Striped Racer (whipsnake) looks like it got spine crushed about 2/3 down by a tire. Just missed the lung and liver but paralyzed passed that point and muscle tissue exposed ☹

A solid argument for a VERY real problem oh having your legs cut out from underneath you

"[Re:Anthropic threatened by US as Supply risk] Defense agencies will now prioritize model portability and redundancy...No military wants to discover, during a crisis, that its AI layer is politically fragile."

News for evening traders in the #energy sector: QatarEnergy, one of the world's biggest liquefied natural gas (LNG) exporters, suspended production due to drone strikes on two of its sites.

European natural gas prices leapt more than 50%.

Oil surged nearly 9% on fears of disruption to supplies.

Qatar shot down two bombers [...] after Tehran began region-wide attacks in retaliation for US and Israeli strikes that have devastated its leadership.

Iran's retaliatory attacks have hit ports, airports, residential, hotels, military sites across the wealthy region of oil giants and US allies.

Remember when the precedent was set for, somehow, being IN war, while not declaring to be AT war?

It turns out it's not so different than corporate rules either...huh.

I almost forgot that Vietnam set the precedent for, somehow, being IN war, while not declaring to be AT war...

I'm curious what the developers stance on the weighted value of such a thing in terms of engagement algorithms.

Was a 10 year corrective action plan the moment we gutted research funding and left foreign scientists wondering if they would even have funding longevity if they were to apply for a research grant in the first place.

It is very hard to find resolve in an uphill battle with no sight of resolution.

Practice does NOT make perfect... training ones self to do a task imperfectly ingrains flaws - and so only *perfect practice* may make perfect.

Your thought process in problem solving works the same.

Strive for perfect practice of thought and you will land much closer to a form of perfect

SDPD Eliminates Press Credentials Across San Diego - San Diego Slackers Independent reporters warn of access issues at protests, freeway crashes, and disaster scenes [SAN DIEGO…

How would one not assume this going to be abused for incarcerating journalists to prevent news from being published or spread?

I wonder if similar actions are being taken in other cities and counties.

If you know of similar local actions, please advise!

Sounds great in theory, but IMO most breakthrough business solutions are based on the existence of an NP-complete problem...the other 90% of keystone projects are more along the line of "updating to use existing technological integrations".

@bennjordan.bsky.social This would be a GREAT partnership with @muckrock.com team for establishing a pipeline of:

Social interests > FOIA process > meaningful/rewarding public contribution > inspiring others.

Also, @deflock-redmond.bsky.social interested in accepting a P.R. 4 integration?

Good day for a pseudo general strike - taking election day off in order to volunteer at polling centers or simply having a presence at and around your local polling center.

The HaveIBeenFlocked.com database is a tiny fraction of Flock Safety queries that have been leaked or released via FOIA requests. You can be tracked for attending a protest, lawfully getting an abortion, or because a random account said something about you on social media.

DeFlock Find license plate readers (LPRs) near you.

PSA: This is a public interactive map that lets users see where suspected/confirmed ALPRs (automatic license plate readers, like flock) are.

A tab lets you read about the technology, how it works, who has access to the information (anyone who pays for it), and how they can be used.
