“The “British Invasion” began on this day 62 years ago-Feb. 7, 1964-when The Beatles landed at JFK Airport in New York. They appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show two days later. The Beatles paved the way for many other British bands to also grow in popularity in the U.S.
