Fighting the urges

(The urges being to always slap wedding rings on to #tavkarios whenever I draw them, no matter if I’m drawing something where they’re already married or not. Mostly bc I am just as normal about them as they are about each other, which is none! 😂)

I’m so sick and tired of people of certain generations (boomer and above) congratulating me on my weight loss and “how good it looks” when it’s still happening as med side effects and that I’m actually not looking as good. I just have less body mass 😬😬😬

Bad (pre-)period cramps and in the mood to get cosy and rest (at least is that a desire I begin to have and know how to do it, which is good) but I promised my sister my signature raspberry cream Swiss role (sponge cake roll) for her birthday tomorrow and I !have! to make it today…

Balancing ADHD meds is so tough. I began taking them last year (I’m close to my one year anniversary now) and I’m still adjusting them. They do help and bc I also don’t know what life is like without suffering have I only now realised that my dosis is too high. I just lowered it this week and *

I get yelled at for saying this but for many hundreds of years people went to university not to get diplomas or be employable but because immersion in the humanities was considered foundational to a good life, and school must return to its original purpose: the joy of learning.

Being visibly queer in public is an act of rebellion.

Big mood, but with dopamine since I began taking ADHD meds. I’m like “wait, is this how ‘normal’ people go through their life? Almost every day????” Feels fake but okay!
