Kuwaiti citizens who rescued the US pilots loaded at least one who was injured into the back of an SUV, they debated whether to call the police or take him to the hospital, and authorities were called to pick him up.

Three US F-15E Strike Eagles were downed over Kuwait, shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses. All six aircrew ejected.
