10 million copies of monster hunter wilds sold is absolutely mental. God I love monster hunter.

Here we have a gacha game that quite literally has moments as good as some of the best parts of final fantasy XIV (and that pacing is way worse to be clear). I’m so impressed. I’ve stuck with wuwa since day 1. I’m just so impressed.

Man I can’t get over how deep in the well the story of 2.2 went for Wuthering waves. I do think the pacing was a little stretched - but honestly the pay off was tremendous. I don’t think there’s much that can be done when your main goal is storytelling. It has to be slow.

I find the gameplay of rise to be closest to wilds. But it is also generally “simpler” visually and the wirebug mechanic can be leaned on and is expected to be leaned on. It’ll be fun. World is clunkier and might take some adjusting but is exceptional as well.

Swaxe is my main. Swaxe exhaust. But I’m also a big paralysis fan.

I’ve been attempting to slow down a bit. Less is more. The problem is I have always been the type of person to chase more and more. More followers, more videos, more subscribers, more this more that. It’s very hard for me to dial it back. But it’s a healthy thing for all of us to do when possible.

Okay tried death stranding again. I’m over weight limit but strategically using the bike and doing pretty well. Get to a forest section with BTs and die over and over because they’re literally in the way of the bridges that have been made by other people and the stupid ink squid shows up.
