Exploring the braid inspired fold-immune elements further. This is a platform that can be made fold-immune with a lever.
If you toggle it and move the world by folding, it becomes a moving platform despite never actually moving.

Liking the fire effect for overshooting the target! Maybe you can take some inspiration from balatro and juice the fire when demolish the target. That and lighting the spell circle upon placement would be my suggestion.

I haven't played it but people have pointed out the similarities after I released my initial demo. Compared to Fault Line, I'll say that the folding mechanic is a lot more freeform and I'm exploring it in a lot of different ways. The mechanic above is an example.
I'm tired of losing keys IRL so I added keys that stay where you put them, in a game where you make the world move.
It's inspired by that mechanic from Braid. Definitely planning to explore this further.
