Your help got me looking around in Microsoft’s docs, and I stumbled on a way to get the tab completion to stop at the character with multiple options:

Set-PSReadLineOptions -EditMode emacs

Granted that does more than that, but I wanted to switch editing to emacs mode anyway.

I'm using PowerShell wrong, right? Like, you're not actually expected to type multisyllabic commands with capital letters all the time, are you?
