July 18: Favorite promo photo. What can I say? The eye contact. The smiles. The crossed ankles. The socks. The tag line. It all goes so hard.

Yes, the chapters are follow different characters, and it definitely captures a lot of different perspectives of the same event! The full book is less than 300 pages as well iirc

I hope one of them will work out! Human Acts is fiction but it is based on actual historic events and there’s a pretty popular Korean movie called Taxi Driver that also depicts the same event

My recommendations are Human Acts by Han Kang or Almond by Won-Pyung Sohn. I’m not 100% sure if they are suitable for that age group, but I feel like the content and themes are comparable to The Kite Runner which I read in my high school English class when I was 16 so I think they could work

July 15: Most romantic moment is so hard for me because I could pick basically any moment from start to finish and convince myself there’s romance going on, but the love between Alex and Henry is so so clear in the Paris scene so it’s gotta be at the top of my list
