There are virtual/burner lines you can get through many means like Google voice or simply getting a line that is a pay as you go for dirt cheap.

One thing you won't have in Steam that Discord has would be custom emotes but let's be real most folk (furry folk especially) has Telegram for that lol

Also Steam used to just be just a basic dm/group chat but only added more to be like Discord as it started bring more popular but was a little "too late" and now most use discord for such.

Afaik Steam can't done really anything bad as has been pretty prosumer.

Like it literally has the same features such as:
- Profile customizations like frames/effects/bgs
- Group chats, voice channels, and dms
- /me for the rp folk
- Notification settings per group and per channel

Best part is nearly everyone uses Steam to game so it's not a new platform to move to.

I had a nostalgia dream last night where I was back to using Steam chats/groups again as if I was back in the 20xx's again and it made me think...

With everything happening on Discord, what's stopping people from going back to using Steam for coms?

I just noticed the autocorrect typo and I am using the excuse that I'm running on zero sleep cause my circadian rhythm is still in Japan and I'm trying to fix that... 💤

I love how there is so many roguelikes and it's bring applied to nearly every other type.

Literally played a picross like roguelike and just heard of the coin pusher one....

Oh and I didn't fail January's drawing requirement as I did draw on something while in Japan but didn't take a picture cause I accidentally left my phone in my bag in the coin locker.

I still haven't fully fixed my tablet to draw on it yet as it's still missing covers and drawing with pcbs exposed is not something I'm comfortable with 💦

Oh yeah I did open some packs of the newest tcg they had and I got this neat Meowth card that is apparently worth a bit that I would break even and make a bit of profit if I sold it.

Gonna keep as it's pretty but wouldn't hurt to send it to get graded right?

I actually went to 4 Pokemon Centers within a few hours before we went to our airport as our flight was at like 9pm but I got lounge access where we ate so well there. Here is one of my bags that was nothing but Pokemon merch lol

Overall it was an amazing trip and would totally go again~ ✨️

On my last day there, a friend of a friend invited us to have breakfast at a this cafe which presented our dishes in a very neat way but it was more like having dessert for breakfast lol

Then we went to this area with giant shinto gates leading to a temple before going to a Pokemon Center.

Can't sleep and its already 2am but I forgot to say that I returned from my trip since the 2nd of this month! Just got really busy but I'll give the recap of what happened on my last day there.

Today was more of a free/relax day so mostly spent my time in Akihabara and browsed some card shops, played arcades like MaiMai or Pokemon Frienda, and browse a few more doujin shops.

Has some tasty ramen that does 2 free noodles refills too.

May have been on a Pokemon catching spree lol

Yesterday I went with a friend and helped out with a photoshoot of their fursuit but I can't show them as they will post it later. We cooked hard on the photos 👌

Afterwards we went to an izakaya and did a bit of drinking while eating tasty yakitori. Never drunk so much but hey all you can drink lol

Did also eat at this yummy sushi place but I forgot my phone in the bag stored in a coin locker take pics 💦

Two days ago we got some curry at Coco and then went to this cool shopping district that had one of the larger Mandarakes and yes I had to go to their doujin section where I saw some familiar artists/circles :3

Also I won a ton of crane game prizes including this King Boo for a certain cat...

A friend got these awesome Devil Connection stuff and I'm a little jealous...
