ah okay that makes sense, lots of people here accuse actual palestinians of being scammers and report their accounts so i see how i might have sounded like that

tbh there was one who'd donated like $150 which is honestly a lot and was the motivation for my doing this, though it's definitely not very helpful since people will still be scammed anyways, thanks btw

i was generally mildly pissed off but in my mention to you all i felt was awkward about telling some stranger that i saw a possible donation of theirs like that's weird even to me but anyways sorry if i came off as aggressive and yeah don't worry about it

then before i mentioned you i checked to see if the account and campaign were still running, found a new donation, looked at the followers and found you there. i dont plan to keep up with their activity but this sort of scammers pisses me off so i don't want them profitting off of people like this

not sure if grift here is meant negatively but in any case i noticed they followed me today so i compared the account to abdallah's instagram and twitter accounts and found it's most definitely not him, and they were receiving donations even today so i wanted to alert the most recent of followers +

it's really sad and despicable how some people take advantage of it to scam others, i don't know who is behind it, it's said to be organised by "the bund" on chuffed but i couldn't find any details :/
