Prequels don't generally work because when writing a story, it's supposed to be biggest moment in a character's life that changes them forever. You cut out the boring stuff before it that doesn't contribute to that moment.

Doing a new story BEFORE that moment usually doesn't feel very meaningful.

If you hang out on VFX forums, you also quickly learn just how many "It's all practical!" puff ups are absolute bullshit either said by celebrities who don't know (because what they saw on set WAS practical) or marketing people who want the buzz.

VFX artists are constantly ground into the dirt.

The movie is completely serviceable and I would say it's not the same kind of gamechanger that Superman was, but as a perennial enjoyer of Terrifying Vast Objects In Space I recommend seeing this bad boy in theaters solely to get the full impact of Galactus, I LOVE how they did the vfx for him -R

One of them gave me the answer that Labour is already complicit in Israel's war crimes so has no legs to stand on when complaining about the damage to the glass.

And I was thinking that their response was absolutely spot on.
