Friday night's film was... "Wuthering Heights" the Emerald Fennell one.
She said she wanted to recreate her thoughts and feelings after reading the novel when she was 14.
In that respect it's a very successful film bc it feels like a 14 year old white girl's Wuthering Heights tumblr made into a film

Anyway, one thing clear for me during Magfest is, we have a severe messaging issue as an industry

I highly recommend game devs to go to gamer panels at cons.

Yes it’s a lot of wrong speculations and screaming, but it’s also a good way to understand how our industry is being perceived and why they always seem to hate us

It finally occurs to me the reason YouTube pushed shorts so much is to use it to transition the platform from content consuming to social media

TBH I am usually happy with any type of acting work from ads to mocap to VO. It is therapeutic to allow me social following a pre written script.

One day tho, I want to make an FMV games that combines my love for films and games and chaos <3

Good question. When I was a kid, I mostly did TV/movie stuff, but during college, I got into theater and enjoyed it.

That being said, given my work obligation, doing 8 shows a week seems impossible anymore. so seems like indie film is more likely the way to go

I hope so too! Haven't done it for so many years, it is SCAWWWY~~~

Anyway, all this is to say that I enrolled in acting classes again because of the show

We shall see if I still love it as much as I used to :)

It took literally almost died for me to peruse game design career, by that time I was ready to burn the world down

My parents now fantasize my future had I became a doctor. They will probably never understand my life choices. I’m learning to make peace with that

Growing up I wanted to be an actor. When my mom learnt about that she told me I’m too ugly to be seen on screen and stage

I was 7

My life since been about trying to live a “normal” life while fantasizing working creatively

But the voice always come back whenever I try to step out

What do you mean your parents accept who you are unconditionally regardless who you are? Who would go out of their way to support you ?

This is the fantasy dream of every Asian kids I feel lol
