I like how in the press conference they asked about the job loss and they bristled and said that is unfair, there will just be shifting but no real changes, and for actual job loss they should ask the counties and health plans. They know this will be awful and totally side stepped it.

Counties already don’t have enough staff and now they want to get rid of their contracted employees, which are often working multiple counties, and make them hire them as their staff, plus have the state take on all duties of an insurance plan (other than paying claims). It’s gonna be chaos.
