i think that the most obvious answer to the "why are the criterion rewards like this why are we getting a tome weapon upgrade from endwalker" is that they planned on doing upgraded tome weapons for the 7.4 tome weapons, and then the ultimate schedule slipped into 7.5 and they don't want 4 i795s
I will always be on the indie side of this and say boyfriend dungeon, the cook serve delicious series, and recently mewgenics as excellent examples

Actually to expand on this a bit as I’ve thought more this morning, the real biggest inspiration for me is bouncing ideas off of someone else. It’s why I like doing collabs, it’s why I like just chatting about OCs, so the person who’s inspiring me the most is always the person engaging me the most
Complicated cause whether he’s figured it out himself is… ambiguous? He wouldn’t ever admit it and I waffle on whether it’s because he realizes it and is embarrassed to say it, or if it’s because he refuses to realize it even though it’s pretty obvious. So he’s more in that process still right now

The problem with replaying Astro bot is every world has exactly 2 levels that are all-time banger classics and it makes you pick between them because they unlock second. Like sorry trunk of funk and downsize are the two best levels why are they unlocked together
