Catch-up days were always bittersweet. Nothing was allowed to happen that day so the Not-Caught-Up could, as the name implied, catch up. That was a small price for people to pay to be able to "rewind time". After all, if you chose the option not to know nothing was real, rewinding an hour was magic.
With the way things are, I wonder if half the country doesn't even realize why prices are going up (this time). It seems every "this time" prices go up a little more than they need to, and then don't go back down as far as they should.

Yesterday I was working on a tiny loco in a giant box so I wouldn't lose parts, and when the coupler came out so did a spring. Maybe the trick is to work over a bucket of water so nothing can bounce. Kidding/not kidding lol.

It's probably concerning that the genius machines can't tell the difference between real trains and model trains. I feel like we'll see some Spinal Tap style misordering. It'd be funny if a model train was delivered instead of a real one, but really awkward the other way around.🤔

With the Turbomotive in the process of being printed, I've started work on the next body shell. This one is an English Electric GT3. In a previous post I said I was repairing a faulty B12 chassis to use for this project, now I think I have fixed it and it runs so much better. #modelrailway #3Ddesign

I'm trying for as close to prototype-looking (not matching some real place though) so it would stand out to me if I didn't do the whole thing. Some areas are supposed to be concrete so there I have to figure out how to get that look... foam clay works pretty well for the pads but not their edges.
