๐งต1/15 Delighted to share our study on the naked mole-rat (NMR): a mammal with bizarre thermal biology, notorious longevity, and cancer resistance. But how do NMRs maintain (or fail to maintain) their body temperature? Our latest work digs deep! #ThermalBiology #Thermogenesis

Pointless delays, miscommunication, unnecessary referrals etc. No one had the patient at the core of their thinking as they did their bit of the job - result was real anguish

In May, RFK Jr threatened to bar government scientists from publishing in top medical journals.
And several journals received letters in April from DOJ alleging political bias in the research they publish.
Just lmao

No we donโt? Thatโs why itโs being collected? Whyโs that a bad thing? Iโm just cautious having seen a few is all, I donโt have a problem with their licensed indication but Iโm glad we have monitoring schemes to check these events for us
27.06.2025 15:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I actually completely disagree with you on both these counts, I donโt think we can safely say there is not an increased risk of pancreatitis, furthermore the mechanism is very clear - they work very particularly on pancreatic hormone and metabolic regulationโฆ.
27.06.2025 15:41 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I think the whole point of follow up data is to identify what the rates actually are and potentially identify who is higher risk. Like with the expansion of any medication, one sees more unusual complications the wider the roll out. Thatโs just good monitoring policy and not isolated to these jabs
