Don't blame the AI because you didn't check the sources it cited.

Making stuff up is literally how it's designed to work. Most models don't have any reasoning to understand that they're factually incorrect. The cutting edge models do not it's still very early.

Your points are totally correct! I'm research, you shouldn't use it as a way to find facts but to summarize already accurate information in a way that you can quickly digest and so you can make decisions without reading entire papers every time.

Again, it's a useful tool that is used incorrectly.

Surprised this hasn't been added yet... He's been a dominant force for a while now and people seem to hate on him.

I've been enjoying it so far... Only issue is that I interacted with people discussing AI on day 1 so now I'm having to work on retraining my algorithm to show me more gaming stuff!

If you haven't started in person, I highly recommend it. Live is fun but paper tournaments and local leagues are so rewarding.

I imagine you could use AI to summarize papers so you can decide which to put your time into reading fully. You can also give it bullet points and have it write a draft paragraph.
