Mitt barn började med att kunna klara bara tre dagar i veckan i grundskola och "jag kommer aldrig att kunna få ett jobb" till 5 dagar i veckan i gymnasiet och yrkesgymnasiebetyg med en bra chans att skaffa ett jobb, och det är bara pga bra lärare och anpassningar som aldrig störde andra elever
I am a cat person till I catch somebody else's cat stalking my favourite squirrel Tufty in my garden and then you better believe I'm out there hissing at it till it runs away (Tufty had the cheek to shout at me for making him run up a tree)
I just made retro school dinner style chocolate sponge with chocolate custard and the world is temporarily a much nicer place

Not helped by the lovely menopausal lady I recently read who wrote that her moods tended to be "today one of us is going to jail and one to hospital and I don't know which will be me" which really resonated

The lovely shed in our garden has been there at least 60 years, but now the council have decided that as it encroaches a meter into their (unusable) land, it has to be demolished (or moved which is easier said than done)
