Claude Codeがそんな風によくなってるなら、放置されてる古いPHP5のコードを最新のPHP8.xに移植させてみようと思う。上手く仕組み化出来たら良いな。

知人から #ClaudeCode で開発中のアプリの話を聞いた後、Appleの開発者も活用している話を見掛ける。こりゃ、フェーズが確実に変わったな。不便だったAIでの開発支援ツールが格段に使いやすくなってるとのこと。

写真集”WITHIN THE STONE”は2004年に、彼の意図する色を再現するため、帆風の協力により出版された。

ビル・アトキンソンが亡くなった。伝説的プログラマー、Mac OSの祖の1人。当時Xeroxがハードウェアで実装した描画システムの同等以上の仕様を、ソフトウェア(Mac OSの仕様を決定付けた)QuickDrawとして実装してしまう偉業を達成し、HyperCard開発し、後年Appleから分社して起業したGeneral Magicではスマホやクラウドの源流の一つ、Magic CapというOSも開発した。
引退後は、写真家として活動しつつ、WWDCには毎年のように参加されていたので、そこで会った方も多い。

Appleの自社Webレンダリングエンジンは、Steve Jobs復帰頃にあったOpenDocベースのCyberdogでも使われていた。Cyberdog向けのNetscape WebレンダリングエンジンOpenDocコンポーネントも開発されていたなぁ。
私はWebブラウザは他のものに変えたが、Mac OS 9.2.2でCyberdogを2002年くらいまではメールクライアントとして利用していた。

つまり、GoogleがWebKitプロジェクトに加わって離れるまで開発に関わっていたのは、2005年から2013年までの期間だ。
そして、WebKitプロジェクトはGoogleが趣旨に反して自社のために開発したコードを削除した。

WebKit全体がオープンソースになったのは2005年6月だ。それより前は、KHTMLベースのWebCoreなど部分以外で、外部の開発者がWebKitプロジェクトに加わり様がない。

WebKitがAppleとGoogleの共同開発であったという嘘が流されている。当初Apple社内でも知る人がいない秘密プロジェクトで、2003年1月にSafariベータ版の配布が始まっても、WWDC 2003になるまで詳細は明かされなかった。
