Truly, I hope y'all never understand the stress of caring for an elderly parent, a senior in high school all while working full time during an administration set on destroying the country. It is really too much.

I did wound care tonight. I started the stop watch on my clock app, and driving to, completing wound care, inserting his new G7 sensor, and driving home took 1 hour 54 minutes and 23 seconds. No wonder I'm tired. I've done that drive 3 days in a row.

I did wound care. I have mixed astigmatism in both eyes, so driving at night is not the most fun. I really hope the wound care nurse tells us we can stop covering his head soon. The procedure was 10/23 and he has excellent granulation!

Every year since my kid was 9 months old, I have given her a Christmas ornament or piece of decor, so that when she moves out she isn't starting from zero. This year I am having the hardest time finding something that resonates.

It is so stressful! Having another driver who will gladly run to the store to do your errands is wonderful! It is also nice on vacation to have another driver! It gets better!

My sister and I are currently each doing wound care 3 days a week. Today I took my dad toothpaste, toothbrushes, Kleenex, bottled water, paper napkins, and hand soap, but I have to return the toothbrushes because he doesn't like them. Good times.

They are very light on the pumpkin, so I'm extra glad I added some dark chocolate chips. They are extremely moist though!

Amen. My dad reads a local magazine that highlights restaurants. Every time a new issue comes out he asks if I've been there. I then remind him that I've had celiac for 15 years and that there are very few places I can eat. It has nothing to do with dementia and everything to do with being selfish.

Years ago our neighbor rescued a miniature dachshund named Ginger. Her owner had died and the kids didn't want her. Ginger decided she liked us better and walked across the street one day and moved in. She lived with us for 5 years and they were glorious.

I had 1/2 c of leftover pumpkin pie filling this year, and 1 c that I stashed in the freezer last year. I added an egg and 1/2 c of Greek yogurt because gluten-free baked goods always benefit from extra fat. I will let you know how they turn out.
