I think even before I knew the concept of gay or straight was, homophobia just didn't make sense to me. There were instances in my youth where homophobia was either seen/heard, and looking back, i remember being either confused and/or mad whenever pple were being that way.

Please remember that even when times are scary, even when things are bad, you are allowed to experience joy. You are allowed to enjoy your hobbies. You are allowed to laugh. You are allowed to have the full spectrum of emotions.

Give yourself permission to still live life and find joy, even now
