Paris mayoral race tests support for green transformation Marion Soulet rides to Paris' City Hall along a once car-choked road that is now a cycleway and a symbol of the French capital's urban green transformation that faces a test in a mayoral election on ...

"The more the city is redesigned to accommodate it, the more cycling increases," Soulet, head of the Paris en Selle cyclists' group, told Reuters after rolling to a halt following her ride along the Rue de Rivoli. "People like it because it's easy, inexpensive, and fast.

The SAVE America Act is a voter suppression scam. It would take away the rights of working people to make their voices heard at the ballot box.

The Senate must reject this bill.

Solar energy for renters has taken off in 10 states. Not in California California's new community solar program is years delayed and just a handful of projects have launched in the meantime.

Community solar isn’t only great for renters, it’s great for home owners whose roofs are heavily shaded, like mine. It’s much better than sliced bread (which is overrated, in my view).

California should get with the program and stop wasting their free golden sunshine.

Trump Administration Readies Plans to Dismantle Renowned Science Lab

Total madness. Only crazed lunatics destroy their nation’s ability to detect and predict clear and present dangers. Silencing truth doesn’t make it any less true.

Search-and-rescue crews were “flying blind” trying to rescue survivors from deadly tornadoes that hit the Midwest last week.

Why? Because Kristi Noem hadn't approved FEMA’s $200,000 contract with a tornado-tracking tool.

But she had time to spend $220 million on anti-immigrant ads. Priorities.

How does he not understand this? 50% of American do not have a passport. Americans who have changed their names (i.e., married women) would have to have access to their birth certificate and proof of name change. This bill is designed to disenfranchise low income voters, people of color, and women.

How long do electric vehicle batteries actually last? When the modern electric vehicle was still in its infancy, drivers worried that vehicles would need expensive battery replacements within a few years. But battery lifespans are exceeding expectations.

Turns out electric vehicle batteries are lasting years longer than experts originally expected. Awesome! www.npr.org/2026/03/02/n...

The dramatic effects of high oil prices are less proof of how important or irreplaceable oil is than they are proof of a completely outdated energy system with quaint single points of failure.

Heat pumps are the most efficient heating technology ever invented.

They harvest and compress pre existing heat in the air, ground or water and transport it where it is needed.

That energy is all around us. It does not have to pass through the Strait of Hormuz or any other geopolitical chokepoint.

London, San Francisco and Beijing achieve ‘remarkable reductions’ in air pollution Cycle lanes, electric cars and other interventions have helped 19 global cities slash levels of pollutants by more than 20%

I’m pleased to see that San Francisco has cut its air pollution by 20% in recent years. It’s time for the whole world to start phasing out fossil fuels. The end of fossil fuels will be a new beginning for health.

I can't even find the words to express how repugnant and despicable this post is.

People who spew such Islamophobic bile don't belong in the United States Congress. The job of elected officials is to combat hate, not fan its flames. (1/2)

That's right: Children shouldn't have to defend themselves from climate change. Regrettably, however, they must because we, adults, are failing them. I invite all adults to join in the defense of our climate and our children's futures in any way they see fit.

Democratic pollsters are urging candidates to refrain from talking about climate change, because they're convinced it's a vote loser. Our data at @mason4c.bsky.social and @yaleclimatecomm.bsky.social shows otherwise. I'm glad to see climate hawk Tom Steyer speaking about it here.
