An umbrella review of randomized control trials on the effects of physical exercise on cognition - Nature Human Behaviour This umbrella review of meta-analytic evidence reveals that previously reported benefits of physical exercise on cognitive function may have been exaggerated. The authors emphasize the importance of obtaining stronger evidence to confirm the causal relationship between regular physical exercise and enhancements in cognitive functioning.

2 years since we published this paper www.nature.com/articles/s41.... I've checked the around 100 papers that according to Scopus have cited our umbrella. 33% of these papers have cited it incorrectly.

Interesting new preprint on the subjective experience of imagery. Does it even make sense to describe it as 'seeing', and what does a high vividness score indicate? Really great to see a push towards better characterisation of what people actually experience during imagery!

Te has planteado el punto medio? Revisar solo para revistas en abierto, que sean non-profit, transparentes en sus procesos de revisión etc. Creo que la cuestión no es revisar o no revisar, es para qué tipo de revista revisar.

I always thought what made me really strong in academia was my resistance to various forms of offensive, humiliating, demeaning or even bullying behavior.
But when I see this behavior done to others, now my juniors, I think maybe it's less of an asset and just the high price I paid to survive/strive
