He was also an incredibly kind person. I wrote him for ~25 years. After Nikita, I was besotted. He was always kind and answered my stupid questions and shared a bit about his life. In 2023, I had the honor of going to one of his concerts (yes, he was a fab musician, as well)... pt.1

Thanks! Me too! Still not thrilled with the idea of cancer in my body, but at least I have the privilege of knowing and having regular scans in the future. Not everyone is that lucky.

Even worse is it wasn't fully removed. It made more sense to keep my kidney in place than to remove it due to the portion of cancer left behind. I'm strangely okay with it, since it's slow growing. Not even 50 yet and already dealing with fun diagnoses.
