Her name was Wilma McCann. She was murdered on 30th October 1975 by the serial killer, Peter Sutcliffe. There are still no plaques or memorials to remember any of the 13 women murdered by the so-called 'Yorkshire Ripper'.

- the killings were unjustified
- none of the 14 dead (7 of whom were children) had guns
- no warnings were given
- no soldiers were under threat
- the troops were the first to open fire
