Exactly! He’d be a menace for sure. But I need him skating up and down the ice.

Her logic was sound. Gudas is my fave player and I love goalies. So I get how she drew that conclusion.

She’s been to a couple games but generally doesn’t watch much hockey. She thought Gudas was a goalie.

She’s not there yet. She was a dance mom mostly, and my brother played stuff like baseball. No contact type sports. Earlier this year, I took one to the belly and had to convince her I was fine. We’ll get her broken in!!

😂 I remember asking my kid, “should we tell nana? Nana’s gonna freak.” And she was like “we tell her!”

So true! 😂

Last night I took my first puck to the face, and @courtneys-stories.bsky.social said that made me a real hockey player.

Today, I’m still amused. Mostly because when I told my mom about it, I was laughing and she was horrified.

Hockey night!

Hockey 24-25. The year my world exploded. I went from one team to several. One fave to a whole fantasy team full of players. I went from hating Marchand to absolutely loving him.

Clearly, I need to seek mental help.

Sometimes, begging helps! Also, get that Marchy book going!! They might listen!
