My paradise, if only temporary.
I wouldn’t describe it as a one to one comparison that way. It’s more the overall action of people in power stripping away institutions that help the less fortunate in order to direct money their own way.
Feels like the DOGE decimation of so many agencies is the 21st century version of the 16th century dissolution of the English monasteries. 😢
Ebb and flow.
We will have good and bad days, simply because we are human. Yet, we can choose our mental reaction to what is happening around us. Coming back to our breathing, and slowing down, allows us to find calm in the moment. Speak less, too. We don’t need to reply to everything we hear. 🙏
