Today we welcome to Nottingham students studying six-week pre-sessional English for academic purposes courses, our last cohorts for this academic year.
It's always a busy summer in #UoNSoE, helping our international students prepare for their degree courses starting in September.
A university careers consultant also gave career-related tips and advice, and provided one-to-one consultation sessions with our current students who wanted support and guidance in career and employability.

A session on ethics in the morning followed by a workshop on survey design in the afternoon.
The Art of Belonging project explores ways in which the impact of social isolation experienced by newly arrived forced migrants could be lessened. It was based on the premise that participation in the arts can enhance place-making and encourage social belonging.

Pupils from @welbeckps.bsky.social produced a short animation as part of the Art of Belonging project led by Professor Joanna McIntyre. It will be shown at Broadway Cinema before family features over the summer.

The regional collaboration taking place in Nottingham offers a promising foundation to co-create a Schools of Belonging agenda rooted in local knowledge and national advocacy and a set of key recommendations was produced to take this forward.
