I really liked this tree at #Hobbiton, particularly the way the branch came down like an elephant's tusk to seemingly cradle and display a small bower of snowdrops.

My immigrant parents saved for years so we could visit family overseas, and if we were going to travel that far and so rarely, we were going to do it for several weeks. Staying with family removed the costs of hotel, eating out all the time, renting a car, laundry, getting a local SIM, etc. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My experience traveling NZ for the past few months has been really wonderful. The nature is obviously beautiful any special, and I've found the people to be independent and kind. I really hope I get a chance to move here and contribute to my new community, wherever that ends up being.
