after checking out both the FOTR HDR theatrical 4k and 1080 SDR I have to say, the 4k hdr is much better than I expected, it's really nice after looking at the official 4k remaster where all the effects shots now look alien and nothing that's composited feels like its in one place. thanks!

Yeah I can see that, I only checked the LD one and thought it sounded fine, and without getting too technical about it I think it's good, but let's not get negative about this, it's pretty amazing that this scan leaked and that we can see it for free, hopefully a better LD audio track will surface.

Sadly most BD audio sucks anyway compared to what LD and VHS used to sound like, it's so muffled.

Lol yeah I guess people see "4K" and they instantly think "oh shit that's the best looking one I should download it! without looking at the technical details or comparing with other rips, but yeah no matter how many parameters you add on the software you can't achieve transparency at such low sizes.
