Zenos flips to another page and marks it down, setting aside his reading to give his beloved friend his full attention. He moves nearer, pressing his large body against hers and looks forward with vacant eyes.

"Would you rather I make you uncomfortable? Would that be more in line with-

"You are surprised to find comfort with me, or rather, my body, my friend?"

He moves his tome to the side and looks down at his mate laying her head on his lap. They had been enjoying the quiet, shared solitude of the summer evening together after a well-fought "sparring" session.

"Comfy..." He echoed the word, the casual slang sounding elegant in his noble pronunciation.
