For now I'm gonna keep it simple and focus on getting comfortable creating things, get familiar with my tools, and aim for done rather than perfect which is something else I've struggled with for a long time.
So to start, this is Lucy! She's a snow leopard and a big fan of yoga and the outdoors.
I know almost nothing about shading or compositing, but I had a lot of fun with this silly idea and plan to stick with it! Gonna do some simple light studies and practice, because now I've got some silly ideas for other pieces.

So far I've just been experimenting with capturing poses in VRChat and then tracing and coloring them in order to build up the confidence to create at all, because for the longest time I wouldn't even start art projects.
So far it's been a lot of fun!
One day soon I'll be on to original sketches!
I'm trying to break my mental block about creative hobbies. Pretty much my whole life I've told myself "I'm just not very artistic" or "I can't get my hands/brain to work that way" when I see someone draw something really cool, but I'm beginning to understand that that just doesn't have to be true.
