The Belém Health Action Plan turns these ideas into action, offering a roadmap built on monitoring, evidence-based policy, and innovation.

COP30 Health Day focused on climate-resilient health systems, the adoption of the Belém Health Action Plan, and the integration of health into national climate strategies, as well as tracking global health adaptation progress.

Health took the spotlight at COP30.

On November 13, COP30 hosted Health Day—a moment designed to bring the human impacts of climate change into climate negotiations.

The goal: make sure climate policies protect people, strengthen health systems, and support communities facing rising risks.

Serving as an expert reviewer is a great opportunity to share your expertise, and help to ensure that Indigenous Knowledge is included, valued, and meaningfully represented in the report.

Intended for any Indigenous experts in climate change, these sessions will provide an overview of how to register as a reviewer, what is involved in the review process, how to be an effective reviewer, how to conduct a group review with others as well as practical tips from IPCC authors.
