Rather topical at the moment... I can remember thinking "The Pope" was like the head of all pimps. I was certainly young enough to not know what either actually did but I heard both words, (mis)understood that both were a job, and figured he must just be the boss.

As I continue the job search, I have more free time than I'm used to. I figured I'd take a swing at writing about the random card game design topics that live rent-free in my head. This post is rather light as I'm feeling the year-end retrospective mood.

Definitely number 2. The character is somewhat boxy so the boxy broom design in 1 doesn't contrast the scene as nicely as 2 does.

The Steam version just went free-to-play this year. It has paid DLC for each expansion that can get pricey. The free install gets you the base set with online play (though limited to 4 players instead of 6 with DLC) and offline vs AI.

Mobile version is the same story. Both versions have a tutorial.
