I've been trying to get used to this secondhand iPad more recently, but because it's uhh. pretty limited. I have a special folder for just stuff to sync to the iPad and use an ancient Resilio Sync license for that!

plus a bunch of other stuff for backups, that's a topic for another day lol

For me, I've got a "working files" folder with all of the .psd/.clip/whatever native filetype files, loosely sorted by broad type (animation, graphic design, drawings) and then topic (fandom, commission, original, etc). 95% of the time I'm at one single desktop rn, but I like Syncthing for syncing.

okay process question for other artists because I'm curious... how do you do your file management? How do you store your in-progress and complete digital work, and if you use multiple devices, how do you keep your work in sync?

I avoid splashin it around these days due to the occasional bad experience of someone learning it and then only calling me that and not Jet. 🙃 so now you have to work for it.

took several years to realize I could just chop off half and there was still a name there. one letter swapped (g ➡️ j) to make the pronunciation clear, but how it's said isn't different!
