Last month in Florence we were in a bar dating from the 1200s. The walls felt holy to me.

Thanks for answering! I never read mine once they’re in print. I’m sick of them… plus, I will ALWAYS find something I’d write differently. Nice to know I’m in good company!

We live in a house that was built in 1920 as a sorority house. So it has a fire escape. A couple years ago we put a squirrel house on the second-floor landing. My favorite sound in the fall is a squirrel on the fire escape. Come March, we’ll have a baby (or two)!

I’ll have the takeout.
