The problem with the whole discussion is that it is so completely shot through with misogynist undertones and assumptions that you really can’t even talk about it without reinforcing them. The fact that it’s considered debatable itself is the problematic fact.

But I feel like there’s this fundamentally unquestioned idea that Sydney Sweeney is some kind of peak visual and I get that I’m gay, but I still have an eye for a diva when I see one, and I’m just seeing basic. I hear Miranda Priestley voice “dirty tired and paunchy”.
