Platinum #188: Hot Shots Golf 2 - Solid blast from the past. You can play as Gex, Sweet Tooth, Sir Dan and even Dottie! It actually still plays quite well. It was fun to revisit the golf game of my youth. Suck it Tiger Woods!

I platted Kingdoms of Amalur on PS3 in Nov 2020. Shortly before Re-Reckoning was released on PS4. Once Re-Reckoning was released. The DLCs for the PS3 version were de-listed from the PSN but I am happy to say that after jumping through some hoops I was able to download & play the 2 PS3 DLCs. 100%!

Platinum #187: Final Fantasy II - A lot of characters had to die for me to get this plat! I know this game isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but this version is very good. The boosters help move things along & make grinding (most peoples gripe) a non-issue. The story actually exists too > FF1

Junko Ohashi has been near the top of my list for a long time.

People should to be immediately jailed for the following reasons:
1) Not turning on their headlights when it’s raining
2) Not re-racking their weights at the gym
3) Expressing the opinion that FFVIII is a bad game
4) Littering

Platinum #186: Clair Obscur: Expedition 34 - 1st this clearly belongs in a lot of people’s GOTY chats. While not necessarily doing anything groundbreaking it does all the good stuff we’ve seen before EXTREMELY well. Battle system, story, whimsy… and no it doesn’t need areas maps

Platinum #185: Final Fantasy - The beginning that paved the way for A LOT of other JRPGs in and out of the long series. 15 hour easy plat (but I didn’t use boosts - totally going to with FF2 & onward… cause why not). Play for the story. Stay for a monk punching a hole thru Chaos.

Platinum #183: Grandia - This is probably my 4th time beating this JRPG gem & it may get better each time. The adventurers tale told with such joy, earnestness and heartfelt moments. I can however say I think I’ve officially seen the Tower of Temptation for the final time in my life.

Update on the Grandia zombie honey stomping scandal!

Lich’s also appear to have a similar affinity and like the feel of what looks like a tasty peach jam in between their toes!

I wonder what the lore reason for all the zombies in Grandia to be standing around in pools of honey.

The Nintendo direct told me about this and I’m excited it’s also on PlayStation since SF1 dropped over there recently-ish too

Platinum #182: Remant II - Dark Souls with guns. Honestly, shocked how into this game I got. So many secrets, items, guns, job classes, etc. Every world has multiple story lines which made replayability so good! @gunfiregames.bsky.social you made a banger that more people need to play!

I have had playing the re-boot camp of these on my short list for awhile. Such a good game!

FFXIII is challenging, great story with characters that grow along with it and a good game! I hope you enjoy it!
