I was inspired by the Watermelon Coleus plant initially and then the whole Joann liquidation started happening and I wasn't able to get my hands on enough hot pink yarn :(

Also, I'm thinking of making a video tutorial of the skirt. It's super easy and fun to work up!

Originally it was supposed to be ice themed but ended up more water themed and I'm so happy with it! The overskirt makes me feel like a cake and I'm so happy with it!

I can't believe it's done! I'm so incredibly proud of myself for finishing a 6 piece outfit for Megacon! Crocheting and sewing this over the last ~3 months have been so rewarding and I've learned so SO much with this 💚

They really are! I will say that they've gotten a little bit thinner throughout the past couple of years but tbh, still better (and much cheaper) than buying fabric off the bolt!

I kinda like the sleeves on this dress so I'm hoping to use this as a layering piece especially since it's shorter than what I'd normally wear.
