I think everyone just sort of assumed that Driver was never gonna go near a Star War again. That he was on board and the studio was on board and they had a script and director is unreal. And Bobby killed it because he couldn't imagine someone coming back from the dead in a movie about space wizards.

Reylo community are a testament to fandom giving back what you put into it. They received so much hate and they poured that energy into writing and supporting fanwork. Now they're seeing that fan work getting made into major movies which wouldn't have been possible if there wasn't community support.
